An assembly to introduce or reinforce the four core British Values. This is a light-hearted assembly where the Queen introduces British Values and their importance to a less than interested student (called Loudmouth Lewis) to try to win him over. USE FOR ANY TOPIC! Booklets of mark-schemes, mastery assessment ideas and other grading templates for assessing progress in PSHE. These assessment booklets were created for KS3 (but can be used with KS4) and are adaptable. They have been created using PSHE Association guidelines to be used with the EC Resources Complete KS3 Pack (although they can be easily amended to fit any school’s scheme). You can pick and choose what you use and what you leave out, I don’t think any school would expect you to use all of it for every PSHE assessment. There are many ways of assessing in PSHE. This booklet allows you to focus on mastery levels or literacy or skills (based on both Bloom’s Taxonomy and the requirements for extensive writing subjects in GCSE with the 9-1 grades). The booklet offers students a variety of long and short tasks to complete, with the options of either peer or teacher assessment. It includes all guidance on how to mark with two easy mark-schemes. The tasks make it very easy for teachers to evidence progress and are simple enough for students to read through and complete themselves, without much guidance. These assessment sheet have been created with the EC Resources PSHE Packs in mind (as the progress measured reflects the kind of tasks and activities in them) but they can be used with any PSHE unit really. The human body - naming body parts including the correct names for the external genitalia KS1 PSHE lesson. A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the activities could easily be adapted to suit students in Year 1. In this lesson, the students will learn about the human body and the importance of using the correct words when talking about our body parts. The students will discuss a variety of body parts and reflect on the importance of avoiding silly or made-up names when referring to genitalia. We will discuss the concept of privacy with regard to our private parts, and define safe-touch boundaries by means of the ‘swimwear’ unsafe-touch rule (i.e. nobody is allowed to touch the parts of your body that are covered by swimming trunks or a bathing suit). The lesson includes a case study starter, a video clip with questions, a cut-and-paste body labelling activity that includes the key terms for penis, testicles and vulva, and a plenary task. Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets. The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging, well differentiated and fun activities. It is designed to be ‘no prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.

A 25 minute Tutor Time session created especially for LGBT+ Month (Feb 2019). This is the fourth of six sessions to be used throughout LGBT+ month, each focusing on and exploring the culture and history of a different aspect of the LGBTQAI community, from Lesbians (L) to Intersex (I). The session contains three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions and final reflection task.
